Au Comptoir, French for “at the bar,” is the latest project from Zoe Jaye Zilian, co-founder of Farmhouse Pottery. Located in the village of Woodstock, this modern craft cocktail bar aims to provide a high standard of hospitality within a space inspired by the beautiful materials of the old world. After a decade honing his craft in some of Greater Boston's most beloved bars, Alex was drawn to the mountains and the magic here at 4 Mechanic Street. As a mixologist, he artfully blends seasonally inspired creativity with a profound respect for the classics, producing menus that both comfort and challenge cocktail enthusiasts and newcomers alike. As the leader of our team, and your host in our barroom, he embraces a philosophy of earnest hospitality, prioritizing each guest's experience as a chance to craft a lasting memory.
